Reviews - Fangirls: Nikki
This was short but sweet. I didn't want it to end. I wanted to know what happens to Nikki next. Robbie does it again with this first installment of Fangirls. It's a great story line and I could not put it down. I can't wait for the next one! Put this on your must read list. (By KatieWeis on Amazon)
A great start to a new series
Fangirls: Nikki is the beginning of a new series by Robbie Cox. Definitely something I know a bit about, fangirling. Once I find myself intrigued by the work of an author, I have to get my hands on everything that author has done.
This first book has Nikki Sanford unintentionally runs into an author at the local coffee shop. After sharing a table and conversation for several hours, they part ways. But she is still intrigued with the conversations from the evening before. She finds herself at Barnes and Noble bookstore and is looking for his books. She finds him and starts reading. Then she finds it... she knows where she can see him again. His website is listed in his book and on his website, a list of upcoming events. Does she dare?
This story was a great quick read. It really kept me engaged and wondering what would happen next. Great characters and storyline. I can't wait to read the rest of this series if it is as good as this one. (By T. Sullivan on Amazon)
Short, quick read
Fangirls: Nikki is the first book I have read by Robbie Cox. Nikki is a novella and a very quick read, I read the entire book in less than an hour. My only "complaint" is that I want it to be longer, I want to know what happens with Nikki and her new friend, although it's not a cliffhanger. This story flows very nicely and isn't choppy in the least. If you're looking for a short quick read, pick this one up. You won't be disappointed!! (By JLH on Amazon)
Fangirls....somehow reminiscent of the old term "groupie" from decades ago.
Robbie so articulately brings back in full force the feeling in our gut...the OMGOMGOMG...should I talk to him? vulnerability we've all felt.
Can't wait to follow the adventure...Nikkei on the road less travelled. (By Kate Campbell on Amazon)
I received the book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Cute story. Short. Very short. A little too much introspection for the main character, but enjoyable nonetheless. (By Amy J. Townsend on Amazon)
